About Shawn Gray
Who am I?
Well, to be honest, I’m not quite sure yet. Any info you have on the subject would be most appreciated. Until such a time, perhaps some resumes would help?
It’s a Film/Video Resume! (Out of date! Egads! New one coming soon.)
Who I am is a rather large and all encompassing question, don’t you think? For now, let’s start with this.
Some information about me:
I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY with a BFA in Film & Animation.
During my college years, I filmed live and seasonal episodes for RIT Sports Zone. I also acted as a production assistant on many promotional videos for RIT, beginning with one made in Dubrovnik, Croatia for ACMT.
During my first summer in the real world, I worked on an indie feature called “Dan is Missing” as a G/E intern and was the BTS Still Photographer (among a mix of other roles) on a short film called “Better Than Wine.”
I’ve worked at the Town of Irondequoit’s Public Access channel creating promotional material for the town, as well as for a local video production company called Electronic Field Productions (EFP).
Currently, I am the head of the video department at Dresden Public Relations as well as a freelance videographer.
I also consistently do improv and act in stage productions. My favorite performance to date has to be the two-man show, “Gutenberg! The Musical!” This show was the very first real world production for the comedy duo These Two Fools, which consists of Thomas Macias and myself. Most recently, I’ve been seen as Bill Graham in the world premiere of “Two Tickets to Paradise: The Eddie Money Musical,” and I can be seen this spring as Mr. Sowerberry in RAPA’s producion of “Oliver!” at the Kodak Center in Rochester, NY.
